Hyland Hall

The dedication of Hyland Hall in 1988 marked the opening of the University’s newest classroom facilities. Named for Kathryn and Bernard Hyland, the parents of alumnus Bernard V. Hyland, M.D. '48, Hyland Hall’s four floors include 16 classrooms, a 180-seat lecture hall, Hyland Cafe, and a lounge. Hyland's first floor was once the University bookstore, prior to its transfer to the DeNaples Center. Since September 2001, Hyland has housed the University's Hope Horn Art Gallery.
